The ‘Your Voice. Your Vote.’ campaign was unveiled August 8, 2016 with a focus on encouraging potential voters to pledge to vote and share important voting information. A primary objective of the campaign was to significantly increase voter turnout, which was approximately 10 per cent in the 2012 Lloydminster General Election.
On Thursday, October 27, 2016, 30 per cent of eligible Lloydminster voters came out to vote in the 2016 election.
